Coffee Themed Basket for Auction

Finally done with this auction basket. It seems like I have been working on it forever. Owen's school is having an auction next weekend to benefit the PTO. I took pictures of the individual items that I stamped. Then pictures of the basket all together with the stamped items and the items I purchased to go in the basket. I got a lot of inspiration from Splitcoast Stampers for the stamped items. The coffee mug shaped card I cased from blessingsx3 on SCS. Here is the link to her blog. http://stampingwithstyle.blogspot.com/

The first picture is the basket wrapped and ready to go. The second is the basket unwrapped. The next photo is of the coffee itself. I just put simple bands around it and stamped the images with H&M's Coffee's Brewing. Next, I made two coasters from tumbled tiles I purchased at Lowe's. They are stamped with images from Coffee's brewing using Stazon Timber Brown. I colored in the cups with my Stampin up markers. Then two coats of Matte Acrylic Sealer. Next up is the travel mug. I found this at Joann's and removed the original paper lining and made this one with some retired Stampin up paper. Next is a notepad holder. You can't see it very well in the picture but I used two different cuttlebug folders. Paisley on top and Swiss Dots on the bottom. Inside is a coffee notepad I found somewhere for $1.00. Next item is the coffee mug card I mentioned above. I saw this on SCS and thought it was adorable. I decided to copy it with the supplies I had on hand. I used the hearts cuttlebug folder and some border punches from Fiskars and Martha Stewart. Inside are individual instant coffee packets from Taster's Choice. The next two photos are the of the jar I made filled with chocolate covered expresso beans purchased from Target. I used the same packet of Stampin up paper as above and finally used my new Cricut to make the label. Lastly, is the set of notecards. They were stamped with the Coffee's Brewing set from H&M and one card I did with my brand new set Everyday Envelopes from Clear Dollar Stamps. Most of the cardstock used was from Stampin up - Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Creamy Caramel and some generic white. I think I covered everything. The school is doing a chinese auction type thing where people purchase tickets then put them in the baskets they hope to win. I hope this baskets gets a lot of tickets because that means more money for the PTO. I plan on helping out with the morning setup and I am sure I will be bidding on some stuff myself. I think it will be a lot of fun.
